The program provides the student with innovative educational opportunities to prepare for a rewarding career in radiologic technology. It combines didactic and clinical education to prepare the graduate for a career as a radiographer. They will be assisting physicians during advanced radiographic procedures, determining safe exposure limits and providing appropriate patient care during procedures.
Program summary:
Basic Science, Anatomy & Physiology, OBG, Gynecology, ENT, General Medicine, Surgery, Skin and Pediatrics, Clinical Pathology, Community Medicine, Dentistry, Clinical and Community Field.
Duration: 3 Years
Eligibility: S.L.C. with minimum of 50%.
Program Outcomes:
Radiography program provides the community with competent radiographers. They will able to perform quality radiographic procedures and function.
Career Prospects and Development:
Radiographer can be an integral member of the health-care team in government and private hospitals. They may further pursue a higher education in radiography and other subjects as well.
