Bachelor in Microbiology

The course is designed to develop competent and highly potential future microbiologist. Students will get theoretical knowledge and practical skills about how microorganism can be used for mankind. This program will be suitable for one who wants to build career in biomedical science and scientific research.

Program Summary:
General microbiology, Chemistry, Zoology, Microbial Biochemistry and Biotechnology, Medical, Agricultural, Food and Environmental Microbiology, Project work.

Duration: 3 years

Eligibility: I.Sc./ 10+2 with Biology group scoring minimum of 45 % Marks in aggregates.

Program Outcomes:
Students will have knowledge about diversity of microbial types, how microorganism can be used and manipulated to aid mankind and counter the detrimental effects of microorganisms.

They find jobs in many places like laboratories of private and government hospitals, research organizations, pharmaceutical, food, beverage and chemical industries.
